Masafumi Ichioka, Instructor in charge of TAC civil service course for experienced personnel
After graduating from university, he joined a special ward. After working in urban development, general affairs (documents, legal affairs), and planning (policy, long-term planning) departments, he was in charge of important ward policies such as general affairs, planning and finance, and industrial promotion for about 20 years as a department manager. He has extensive experience as a training instructor. A professional in special ward administration who has served as an executive on the special ward side in inter-ward discussions over metropolitan-ward financial adjustments and metropolitan-ward system reforms for many years.
He is also the driving force behind the TAC course for experienced personnel, enthusiastically teaching policy knowledge that can be utilized as a ready-to-work civil servant, providing essay and interview preparation guidance, correcting application forms, and counseling students.
A word from Instructor Ichioka to those aiming to become civil servants:
The civil service is an attractive job that you can continue for a long time with a sense of accomplishment and pride. As an employee of a special ward, I have long been involved in the frontline work of ward administration. As a department manager for about 20 years, I was in charge of policies in a wide range of fields, including industrial promotion, planning and finance, general affairs, and personnel, so there are many things I definitely want to convey to the examinees from that experience. This is because I believe that understanding the work of a civil servant and studying while increasing your motivation will surely lead to 'passing.' Let's do our best together!
