We support 'April Dream,' an initiative that aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams.
This press release is the dream of 'Fukusei Co., Ltd. / Jun-en Project.'

Temples and shrines were once places where children played and people naturally folded their hands in prayer as part of their daily lives.

However, in recent years, due to a growing detachment from religion and changes in society, the distance between people and these sacred spaces has gradually increased. The feeling that one must 'worship correctly' can sometimes become a barrier to taking that first step.

Fukusei Co., Ltd. has walked alongside temples and shrines through the sale of tabi (traditional Japanese socks). Because of these connections, we launched the 'Jun-en' project in October 2021 to connect the general public with temples and shrines.

In 2021 and 2022, we held temple and shrine events to create spaces for these experiences.

Following that, we renewed the project in September 2023 by launching a column section.

With the concept of 'Watch and find good fortune! Read and boost your luck!', Jun-en continues to publish content as a media outlet where people can 'learn while enjoying' the charm of temples and shrines through accessible topics like Goshuin (temple seal) collecting, sightseeing, and luck-boosting.

We value providing 'living information' obtained by our writers actually visiting the sites, as well as 'semi-official information' that has been verified by the temples and shrines with whom we have built relationships.

We strive to create content that makes your heart feel lighter just by watching, makes you feel more joyful when reading, and makes you want to head out on your day off.

Supported primarily by women in their 30s and 40s, the media continues to grow, reaching a wide audience:

January 2024: 43,000 PV
January 2025: 160,000 PV
January 2026: 350,000 PV

At Jun-en, rather than saying 'you must do it properly,' we share content that allows people to naturally learn the correct way to worship and the right mindset through the experience that 'knowing makes it more fun.'

Thanks to Jun-en's columns, we have received feedback from people who visited temples they previously didn't know, saying things like, 'I didn't know such a place existed' or 'I'm glad I learned about this.'

Jun-en's small efforts and the steps taken by the readers who receive them are gradually closing the distance to temples and shrines.

The sound of flutes at an exciting summer festival. The temple or shrine grounds echoing with the laughter of children.

The memories of visiting for Hatsumode (the first shrine visit of the year) with the whole family, and the warmth of amazake (sweet fermented rice drink).

And, quietly folding one's hands in prayer in front of a temple or shrine.

We hope that such casual, everyday scenes will remain a natural part of the future.

With excitement as the gateway, Jun-en gently connects people with temples and shrines, linking these 'places where the heart returns' to the future.

To pass on the culture of naturally feeling close to temples and shrines to the next generation. To remain a 'Jun-en' site that delivers sincere information.

That is the 'dream' we want to convey through April Dream.
