Narumiya Characters x Kutsushitaya: First Collaboration Socks to be Released on Friday, May 1

Tabio Corporation (Headquarters: Naniwa-ku, Osaka City, President and Representative Director: Katsuhiro Ochi), which develops and operates specialty sock stores such as 'Kutsushitaya', 'Tabio', and 'Tabio MEN', will release socks in collaboration with the brands 'ANGEL BLUE' and 'mezzo piano' of Narumiya International Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and Representative Director: Daisuke Hosaka) at 149 'Kutsushitaya' stores nationwide and the Tabio official online store starting Friday, May 1. This is the first collaboration between Kutsushitaya and these two brands, which are drawing attention from Generation Z for their 'Heisei Retro' appeal.

[Background of this collaboration]

'Heisei Retro' is a term that has been heard for several years, and the Narumiya Characters truly represent that Heisei era. The 'NARUMIYA HAPPY PARK', the first permanent shop selling those character goods, opened in Lumine Est Shinjuku in September 2025, making the Heisei Retro boom something more people can experience. NARUMIYA HAPPY PARK opened its second store in Saitama this March, and is eagerly awaiting its first expansion into the Kansai region at LUCUA South in Osaka in autumn 2026, so the boom is likely to spread further. We planned this collaboration so that the elementary and junior high school students who created the boom back then, who are now the parent generation, can enjoy it with a new yet nostalgic feeling. We have created an ultimately pop and cute product series where both past fans and current fans can fully enjoy the worldview of the characters.
