"Snow Crystal Kaleidoscope Exhibition" - First Public Exhibition in Hokuriku!
Exhibition Period: July 16 (Thu) - September 29 (Tue) (Closed Wednesdays, excluding holidays)
This exhibition features a collection of beautiful snow crystal kaleidoscopes, also appreciated as objets d'art, primarily from the collection of Yukako Ishiko of Kaleidoscope Salon prism, who is also a snow crystal collector. Visitors can learn about the history and mechanisms of kaleidoscopes, as well as the mirror systems that create the patterns of snow crystals.

Nakaya Ukichiro Museum of Snow and Ice - See, Touch, and Be Amazed!
A memorial museum dedicated to Ukichiro Nakaya, a scientist from Kaga City, globally recognized for his research on snow crystals.
After a year-long closure for disaster recovery from the Noto Peninsula earthquake, the museum will reopen in April 2026!
Alongside specialized staff, you can experience beautiful and wondrous experiments with snow and ice, such as diamond dust, Tyndall figures, and ice pendants. You can also explore Nakaya's diverse achievements in science, essays, film, and art.
