We endorse 'April Dream,' which aims to make April 1st a day to share dreams. This press release is the dream of Colloid Inc.
We will expand e-sports as an educational option and create a society where children can develop confidence starting from what they 'love.'
Inside games, there are many learnings necessary for the coming era, such as the ability to communicate in English, the ability to cooperate, the ability to keep challenging even after failure, and communication that respects others. We will expand a society where children can have confidence and connect with the world through e-sports.
### Current Initiatives
#### 1. Online English School SYUGO Using Games
At SYUGO, we provide online English services using games like Minecraft. Because of the shared experience in the game, children naturally use words and become positive about communication. Furthermore, having time to play the same game together makes it easier to build a relationship of trust between the instructor and the child. Children find it easier to express what they don't understand or what they are struggling with to a person they feel safe with, and the accumulation of such experiences promotes conversation (communication).
#### 2. Holding E-sports Tournaments for Parents and Children
We also hold tournaments that parents and children can enjoy together so that learning can expand into the home. In collaboration with the e-sports team 'Not Enough' (operated by Tobira no Mukou LLC), we host the ARENA family tournament once a month. During the tournament, we also implement the 'Parent-Child English Challenge.' In this challenge, parents and children collaborate while communicating in English, aiming to create opportunities for conversation within the family and lead to language learning.
From this year, Mining Inc. has joined as a sponsor, and the scale of the tournament is expanding. Furthermore, an offline event is scheduled to be held in Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, in April.
