Dual-Lens Design

The newly launched Osmo Pocket 4P features a dual-lens system with wide-angle and mid-telephoto lenses.

By switching between lenses according to the scene, it supports a wide range of shooting scenarios—from landscapes and portraits to distant subjects.

【Wide-Angle Lens】1-inch CMOS sensor, 20mm equivalent, F2.0

While the sensor size, focal length, and F-value are the same as the Osmo Pocket 4, the Osmo Pocket 4P features a newly developed sensor with LOFIC technology, significantly enhancing dynamic range.

When D-Log2 is selected, it supports up to 17 stops of dynamic range and 10-bit recording.

It suppresses blown-out highlights and crushed shadows, beautifully rendering rich tonal gradations and fine details.

Mid-telephoto lens with up to 12x zoom

The Osmo Pocket 3 supported up to 4x zoom, and the Osmo Pocket 4 supported smooth 4x zoom. With the Osmo Pocket 4P, the addition of a mid-telephoto lens enables lossless zoom up to approximately 6x equivalent based on the wide-angle lens.

Combined with digital zoom, it supports up to 12x zoom.

This allows distant subjects to be captured large and in high quality, enabling dynamic video recording of events such as school sports days and recitals, as well as distant architecture and wildlife during travel.

Exceptional Macro Performance

The newly added mid-telephoto lens enables extremely close-up shooting.

It achieves an astonishing minimum shooting distance of approximately 20cm (focus range: 0.2m to ∞), allowing small objects, flowers, food, and more to be captured large with fine detail.

Furthermore, electronic zoom can be used even at the minimum shooting distance, enabling subjects to be magnified further while maintaining distance.

This allows for powerful macro-style visual expression.

It beautifully captures even the finest details of small subjects, making it ideal for product photography, tabletop shots, plants, and more.

Bright F1.8 Lens

The mid-telephoto lens features a 1/1.28-inch sensor and a bright 60mm F1.8 lens.

Thanks to the large sensor and bright lens, it enables background blur effects despite being a pocket-sized camera.

In portrait shooting, it naturally separates the subject from the background, making the subject stand out more vividly.

Combined with the high stabilization performance of the 3-axis gimbal, it captures stable footage even in telephoto and nighttime shooting scenarios, which are typically prone to camera shake with conventional cameras.

It enables beautiful, low-noise video recording not only in daytime vlogging but also in low-light scenes such as nightscapes, illuminations, and live events.

D-Log / D-Log2 Support

The wide-angle lens now supports not only the traditional D-Log but also the new 'D-Log2'.

D-Log2 records over 1 billion colors and leverages up to 17 stops of dynamic range to preserve rich tonal gradations from highlights to shadows.

It captures more natural, high-quality footage while suppressing blown-out highlights and crushed shadows.

Meanwhile, the mid-telephoto lens supports the standard D-Log.

It takes advantage of a wide dynamic range to retain details even in high-contrast scenes, enabling flexible color grading during post-production.

ActiveTrack 8.0

Continuing from the Osmo Pocket 4, the Osmo Pocket 4P features the 'ActiveTrack' function that automatically follows the subject.

The Osmo Pocket 4P now supports ActiveTrack even when using the mid-telephoto lens.

It reliably tracks the subject even at maximum 12x zoom.

Moreover, when switching from the wide-angle to the mid-telephoto lens, ActiveTrack continues seamlessly without interruption.

This allows smooth shooting without losing track of the subject, even when changing lenses.

Whether filming people at a distance during sports days, recitals, or sports events, the desired subject remains consistently framed, enabling anyone to easily capture stable footage.

Slow Motion

The wide-angle lens supports slow-motion recording at up to 4K/240fps, while the mid-telephoto lens supports up to 4K/200fps.

With up to 8x ultra HD slow motion, even everyday moments can be beautifully preserved as cinematic 4K footage.

Wireless Control with Osmo Frame Tap

The Vlog Combo includes the newly introduced accessory 'Osmo Frame Tap' from the Osmo Mobile 8P.

By wirelessly connecting to the Osmo Pocket 4P, it enables various operations from a distance.

Starting and stopping recording, as well as zoom and gimbal control via the built-in joystick, can be performed without touching the main unit.

Additionally, the Osmo Frame Tap features a monitor, allowing not only live view monitoring during shooting but also playback of recorded videos and photos.

Switching between shooting modes such as photo, video, and slow motion can also be done directly from the Osmo Frame Tap, enabling comfortable shooting without touching the main body.

Newly Introduced Accessories

Several new accessories have been introduced for the Osmo Pocket 4P.

With the adoption of dual lenses, accessories such as filters and wide-angle lenses have been newly designed.

Additionally, filters have changed from the previous magnetic type to a snap-in design.

This ensures secure attachment, reducing the risk of accidental detachment during shooting and allowing safe transport and use with accessories mounted.

This makes it more practical to keep filters or lenses attached at all times, significantly improving usability.

Fast Charging, Long Recording

Approximately 80% charge in about 18 minutes, and full charge in about 32 minutes.

A full charge supports up to 210 minutes of continuous recording.

This allows extended vlogging or travel shooting without worrying about battery life.
