## Synology Launches Active-Active NVMe Enterprise Storage Solution "PAS7700"

Tokyo, Japan – May 21, 2026 – Synology officially announced the general availability of the PAS7700, its first active-active all-flash NVMe storage system. Designed for mission-critical workloads, the PAS7700 delivers enterprise-grade performance, uninterrupted fault tolerance, and optimized operational efficiency.

"The PAS7700 reflects Synology's 25 years of storage experience and close collaboration with enterprise customers," said Bie-i Chu, Executive Vice President of Synology's NAS Group. "After a one-year field validation program, the PAS7700 has proven its reliability and performance, contributing to a reduction in TCO for our customers."

### High-Performance Storage for Demanding Workloads

Featuring a dual-controller architecture, the PAS7700 includes 48 NVMe SSD bays in a 4U chassis and is expandable up to 1.65PB of raw capacity with seven expansion units. It supports a wide range of file and block protocols, including NVMe-oF, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, SMB, and NFS.

With up to 2,048GB of memory and 100GbE networking, the PAS7700 achieves up to 2 million IOPS and 30GB/s throughput with sub-millisecond latency.

### Continuous Operation and Data Resilience

Designed for environments where downtime is unacceptable, the PAS7700 provides multi-layer redundancy through its active-active architecture, including RAID triple parity, in-memory sync write protection, and IP/protocol-level failover.

It comes standard with data protection tools including self-encrypting drives (SED), WORM, immutable snapshots, Snapshot Replication, and Hyper Backup.

### Cost and Storage Efficiency Optimization

Advanced deduplication features minimize storage consumption for large enterprise workloads. Furthermore, Synology Tiering (to be supported in the future) automatically assigns less-frequently used data to lower-cost storage based on customizable policies.

The PAS7700 is available globally through Synology distributors and partners. For details, please visit www.synology.com/products/PAS7700.
