Symunity to Showcase Tea-Themed Sensory Immersive Space at Immersive Technology EXPO 2026

Symunity Co., Ltd. will present an immersive space exhibition themed around tea at the "Immersive Technology EXPO 2026" to be held in 2026.

This exhibition combines visual effects using wall LEDs, 15.1ch spatial audio, and natural scents from real tea leaves, along with moss-textured carpets and chairs featuring built-in vibration speakers, to create a multi-sensory immersive experience that does not rely solely on vision. Building on the concept of "emotion-stirring immersive experiences" from last year's exhibition, this year's showcase incorporates analog textures and physical vibrations to propose a spatial experience that resonates with physical sensations.

Updates from Last Year Last year's exhibition explored the relationship between emotional movement and immersion through a combination of full wall and floor LEDs, spatial audio, and aromas. This year, the concept has been evolved to focus on how to integrate physical textures and bodily sensations into the experience, rather than relying solely on digital technology. Instead of LEDs on the floor, a moss-textured carpet is used. Adding a texture reminiscent of natural materials to the floor creates a tactile sensation within the digitally constructed space. Furthermore, vibration speakers built into the chairs allow visitors to physically feel low-frequency sounds and fluctuations. Receiving sound as physical vibrations rather than just auditory input creates a level of immersion that visual and audio elements alone cannot achieve. Regarding scent, instead of standard artificial aroma diffusion, the scent of real tea leaves is introduced to the space. Combining the scent of tea leaves with visuals, audio, and the texture underfoot creates a spatial experience that is felt bodily, going beyond mere seeing and hearing.
