Visitors do not merely view the works from one direction; they enter the interior of a space where materials sway, reflect, and cast shadows. 'Resonance' is an attempt to establish invisible energy existing within natural and urban environments as a physical space of overwhelming scale.

How does space transform when historical environmental data, vibrations from heavy bass, and subtle tremors of air resonate with inorganic industrial products like ribbons, mirrored sheets, and iron wires?

In this exhibition, we aim to make the forces of the environment and the structure of the city, which are not usually consciously perceived, perceivable through physical experiences such as seeing, walking, pushing through, and becoming enveloped in reflections.


- WIND: Invisible topography sculpted by past winds
This is a massive kinetic installation where 2,160 ribbons rain down from a net spread across a 12m x 4m space.
Based on the wind direction and frequency recorded in the land of Osaka, we have designed the length of the ribbons and the positioning of 16-directional circulators.
The ribbon length is not random.
Based on the rule that the more frequently strong winds blew in a particular area, the shorter the ribbons become—as if weathered and worn away—all 2,160 ribbons were hand-cut.
Visitors push through the windless area where the ribbons hang heavily, eventually emerging into a giant cavity carved out by the wind.
It is a work where one can experience the history of invisible wind as topography with one's own body.

- SURFACE: Mirrored waves distorting space
This installation uses plated wrapping sheets, often used for car bodies, to ripple the surface layer of the space.
The energy brought by heavy bass and environmental noise is visualized as the sway of mirror materials.
Industrial materials resonate with vibrations, rippling like liquid metal, unstably distorting the gallery space and the visitors' own reflections.
This work demonstrates that the ground we stand on and the space itself are never fixed, but always fluid and containing fluctuations.
It is a work completed by reflecting and incorporating the surrounding environment.

- ROOT: Absolute stillness and pulsating shadows
A giant iron wire structure that settles at the bottom of the dynamic space created by WIND and SURFACE.
It has no mechanical motion and is composed as a complex form that sways slightly due to environmental inertia.
The wire, upon receiving light, casts unpredictable shadows on the floors and walls, giving a constantly changing expression to matter that should be stationary.
Amidst the intensely moving works, ROOT lies at the bottom of the space like the roots of the city or infrastructure.
It is the anchor of the exhibition, where the stillness of matter and the rustle of shadows resonate.

- HORIZON: Geological strata of memory and context scanning
A video installation using super-wide wall projection, 7,000mm wide by 900mm high.
Scenery filmed across Japan is finely sliced into layers such as underwater, water surfaces, tree roots, swaying plants, urban bridges, railway bridges, and the sky, then stacked like geological strata.
By deliberately deconstructing scenery that should be continuous and reconstructing it like strata, we visualize the layers that compose our environment.
If other works are about resonating with the space that exists 'here and now,' HORIZON brings memories of distant lands and the history of infrastructure into the gallery, connecting them with the visitor's inner self.
