Desktop App for "Stella AI for Biz" Now Available

Overview

The desktop app for "Stella AI for Biz" is a new mode of use that resides on your PC without needing to launch a browser. Its biggest feature is the "Minutes Mode," which automatically generates meeting minutes by recording any app window or the entire screen, including Teams and Zoom. It also includes a side mode and shortcut key activation, and is available free of charge for Windows users who are "Stella AI for Biz" subscribers.

Background

The minutes generation feature of "Stella AI for Biz" has been highly praised for its accurate transcription, and an increasing number of customers are switching from minutes-specialized SaaS services. However, the web version was limited to recording within the browser window, posing a constraint that it could not support app windows such as Teams and Zoom.

Furthermore, as we have introduced the service to over 1,000 companies, we have seen an increase in companies unable to install the "Stella Extension" due to Microsoft Office and other office software versions, as well as internal security policies.

The desktop application resolves these two issues simultaneously.

Minutes Mode

While the web version could only record the browser screen, the desktop app allows you to select any app window, such as Teams or Zoom, or the entire screen as the recording target. The minutes generation feature can now be used regardless of the meeting tool or environment, enabling automatic creation for meeting formats that were previously unsupported.

Displayed as a thin sidebar on the edge of the PC, it does not interfere with the active window. The popular "one-click generation" from the "Stella Extension" is also available in side mode, allowing for equivalent operability even in environments where the "Stella Extension" cannot be installed. (With "one-click generation," you can use summarization, explanation, editing, replying, and translation.)
