Super Normal Inc., established in June 2024, aims to promote "excellent ordinary" products. Their third product line, the sustainable sake "MEGURU," is now available on their online store after a successful Makuake campaign (708% achievement). "MEGURU" includes two varieties: MEGURU-FUKUNISHIKI and MEGURU-SEITEN. This sake is produced through a resource circulation initiative by Kobe Shimbun's "Local Energy Sake for SDGs Project," where digestate from farm biogas is used as fertilizer for Yamada Nishiki sake rice. The "MEGURU-SEITEN" and "MEGURU-FUKUNISHIKI" varieties are the first sake products in Japan to obtain the Salmon-Safe certification, an eco-label from the US focused on water quality and wildlife habitat protection, established in 1997 by Pacific Rivers. Concurrently, the "Slowly Knitted Mochifuwa Socks Salmon-Safe×WACS Edition," which was also sold on Makuake, is now available online. These socks utilize "WACS," a recycled material project by Miyama Co., Ltd., which collects and reuses textile waste generated during sock production in Nara Prefecture, a region accounting for 60% of Japan's sock manufacturing. This initiative aims to reduce waste disposal costs and CO2 emissions from incineration. Super Normal Inc. has a history of successful crowdfunding projects, including "MOONRAKERS × Super Normal 'Excellent Ordinary Setup'" (2833% in 2024) and "Super Normal × dorocos 'Slowly Knitted Mochifuwa Socks'" (569% in 2025).
