Sunstella Launches Revopoint's High-Precision 3D Scanner 'MetroY Ultra'

Sunstella (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo) has announced the launch of the 'MetroY Ultra,' the latest high-precision 3D scanner from Revopoint.

The MetroY Ultra is the flagship model in Revopoint's 'MetroY' series of industrial 3D scanners. By combining high-precision laser scanning performance with full-field blue light structured light technology, it enables fast and highly accurate 3D data acquisition. It is suited for a wide range of applications, including reverse engineering, quality inspection, product development, and cultural heritage preservation.

Ultra-high-speed scanning up to 7 million points/sec The MetroY Ultra is capable of acquiring up to 3 million points/second during line laser scanning and up to 7 million points/second during structured light scanning. Furthermore, the structured light mode supports high frame rates of up to 90fps, allowing for high-quality 3D data acquisition of large parts or complex shapes in a short amount of time.

Hybrid measurement combining laser and structured light The MetroY Ultra is equipped with both multi-line blue laser and full-field blue light structured light technologies. Laser scanning is suited for high-precision shape acquisition, while structured light scanning is capable of capturing a wide range in a short time.
