Chikako Sawada to Hold 39th Anniversary Special Concert 'Tokigusuri' at I'M A SHOW in Yurakucho on October 17, 2026

Chikako Sawada, the singer renowned for her debut single 'Koibito to Yowasete' and the million-selling ballad 'Aitai' which has touched the hearts of many in Japan, has announced she will host her annual special concert at the theater 'I'M A SHOW' in Yurakucho, Tokyo. The performance is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, corresponding with her debut month.

The setlist for this special performance will focus on songs from her latest album 'Tokigusuri' released in June, combined with her signature hits such as 'Koibito to Yowasete' and 'Aitai,' as well as a rich selection of cover songs spanning various musical genres.

To commemorate her 39th anniversary in the music industry, Sawada will perform with a five-piece band of top-tier musicians. The band features her husband and music producer Atsushi Onozawa (Piano & Chorus), alongside Nobuhiko Koizumi (Keyboard & Chorus), Kenta Ebara (Guitar & Chorus), Chiaki Isozumi (Bass & Chorus), and Jun Shimizu (Drums & Chorus).
