The stage play adaptation of Yuko Yuzuki's novel 'The Fugitive Heads North' will run from June 12 to 21, 2026, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre. Set right after the Great East Japan Earthquake, it tells the story of a young murderer heading north and a detective pursuing him despite losing his daughter in the tsunami.
