■ "DINO SAFARI 2026" Comes to Osaka!

First time in Osaka! Immerse yourself in the world of dinosaurs this summer!

"DINO SAFARI," which has been held annually during Golden Week in Shibuya Hikarie, Tokyo, is finally making its debut in Osaka.

This performance is an immersive experiential live entertainment where lifelike dinosaurs freely roam in front of the audience, making you feel as if you've stepped into the world of dinosaurs.

The dinosaurs that appear are "dinosaur-type mechanical suits" developed by ON-ART (Tachikawa City, Tokyo) over 18 years.

You can experience these dinosaurs, which attempt to reproduce their actual ecology, up close.

The Osaka performances will be held during the summer holidays, with a total of 30 performances across two venues: ATC Hall C Hall (22 performances) from August 5th (Wed) to 12th (Wed), and Grand Cube Osaka Event Hall (8 performances) from August 14th (Fri) to 16th (Sun).

Dinosaurs popular with a wide range of ages, from children to adults, will gather in Osaka, including a baby Parasaurolophus characterized by its "long crest," the Tyrannosaurus, often called the "strongest carnivorous dinosaur," and the Fukuiraptor, discovered in Japan.

For the Osaka performances, two seating types will be offered: "Shiba Arena," where you sit on the lawn, and "Oka Arena," where you sit on chairs arranged on tiered seating.

Tickets will go on general sale from May 9th (Sat) at 10:00 AM via Ticket Pia, Eplus, Lawson Ticket, and Asoview!.

Supervised by paleontologist Professor Kobayashi! "Dinosaur Card" present!

All ticket purchasers will receive a "Dinosaur Card" upon entry. The Dinosaur Card comes with commentary supervised by paleontologist Professor Yoshitsugu Kobayashi of Hokkaido University Museum, also known as "Dinosaur Kobayashi," and there's a random chance to get a shiny card.

Experience the Tokyo performance first! Comment from Professor Kobayashi has arrived!

"I am a specialist in dinosaur research, and normally I would think, 'How is the modeling of this dinosaur?' or 'How are its movements?' But even as a specialist, the dinosaurs that appear are so well-made that I was immediately immersed. Children will undoubtedly be delighted, and surprisingly, adults are deeply moved. It's not just about showing dinosaurs; there's learning about bone structure, evolutionary behavior, and environmental stories, and it's also so entertaining that you'll want to enjoy it again and again. It's an interesting show in the sense that entertainment and science merge. Also, in an era where anything can be reproduced with generative AI, I really want people to value these kinds of events and experiences. I think these events allow you to feel spaces and smells that AI simply cannot replicate, so I hope people will have a live experience."

▶Paleontologist: Yoshitsugu Kobayashi

Professor at Hokkaido University Museum. As a dinosaur researcher, he focuses on the evolution of theropod dinosaurs, their transition to birds, and dinosaur ecology in the Arctic region.

He has named Japanese dinosaurs such as Kamuysaurus in Hokkaido, Paralitherizinosaurus, Fukuiraptor in Fukui Prefecture, and Yamatosaurus in Hyogo Prefecture, and has discovered many dinosaur fossils abroad. His recent books include "Tyrannosaurus Dissection Manual" (Kodansha) and "Dinosaur Studies" (University of Tokyo Press).

Parasaurolophus (total length approx. 6.3m)

A baby Parasaurolophus, which first appeared in "DINO SAFARI" during the April-May Tokyo performances, will also appear in the Osaka performances! A hadrosaurid dinosaur that lived in North America during the Late Cretaceous period. It is characterized by a long crest extending from the back of its head. Recent research suggests that a long, curved nasal passage ran inside the crest, possibly allowing it to resonate sounds like a sound amplifier. The estimated sound was a low frequency of about 30-300Hz, believed to travel far.

Tyrannosaurus (total length 8m)

The undisputed strongest carnivorous dinosaur. It is believed to have reigned as the apex predator in North America around 66 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period. In fact, fossil research has revealed that Tyrannosaurids of almost the same size lived in Japan around the same time.

Fukuiraptor (total length 5.5m)

Discovered in Japan during the April-May Tokyo performances.
