(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Kazuhito Takahashi) are pleased to announce that the READING WORLD×VISIONARY READING Stage Reading 'Shion no Momiji' will be performed at the Nippon Seinenkan Hall from July 17th (Fri) to July 19th (Sun).

This production is a collaboration between the stage reading project READING WORLD, which has developed unique worldviews in historic venues such as 'Kamo no Ne' at the World Cultural Heritage Shimogamo Shrine and 'Yakusoku no Hate' and 'Yakusoku no Requiem' for the UNESCO World Memory Heritage Maizuru Repatriation, and VISIONARY READING, a new stage reading experience by AOI Pro. with the concept of 'Stage readings and stories come to life through visuals.' It will be held in July 2026 at the Nippon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo.

In this work, the delicate reading expressions by voice actors are combined with visual effects and live music to vividly depict the story's scenes and characters' emotions, leading the audience into a deep immersive experience. The script is by Atsuo Tomori, who wrote 'Kamo no Ne Dai Goya - Asagi no Sakura -' (2024), and the direction is by Masaya Okamoto (AOI MANAGEMENT). It is a new story connected to the world of 'Kamo no Ne Dai Goya - Asagi no Sakura -'.

The protagonist, Momiji Amamiya, will be played by Ayaka Yamane, who has appeared in many popular works such as Mizuki Ashiya in 'Hanazakari no Kimitachi e' and Misao Makimachi in 'Rurouni Kenshin -Meiji Kenkaku Romantan-'. Shuta Hara, Momiji's childhood friend, will be played by Ryuji Sato, who has starred in popular works such as the musical 'Touken Ranbu' and the 'Private Detective Hama Mike' series. Momiji's biological father, Bungo Majima, will be played by Kappei Yamaguchi, who has played many of Japan's leading popular characters such as Inuyasha in 'Inuyasha,' Shinichi Kudo/Kaito Kid in 'Detective Conan,' and L/Ryuzaki in 'DEATH NOTE.' Momiji's stepfather, Yoichiro Amamiya, will be played by Kazuya Nakai, who plays Roronoa Zoro in 'ONE PIECE,' Toshiro Hijikata in the 'Gintama Series,' and is the Japanese dubbing voice for Rami Malek in '007/No Time to Die.' Momiji's mother, Eri Amamiya, will be played by Kotono Mitsuishi, who is highly popular both domestically and internationally, playing Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon in the anime 'Sailor Moon,' Misato Katsuragi in 'Neon Genesis Evangelion,' and Nobita's Mama in 'Doraemon.' Furthermore, Ako Sasano, Momiji's colleague, will be played by Kanae Ito, who plays Carrot in 'ONE PIECE,' Ruiko Saten in 'A Certain Scientific Railgun,' and also works as an artist. Harumichi Hara, Shuta's younger brother, will be played by Chiharu Shigematsu, who utilizes his tenor voice in a wide range of roles such as Hiroto Suzuki in the anime 'The Day I Became a God' and Zhao Gao in 'Kingdom.' Momiji's lover, Takao Kondo, will be played by Kentaro Kumagai, who has starred in popular works such as Takuya Ohara in 'Are You Really Getting Married?' and Makoto in 'Ikebukuro West Gate Park.'
