Yokohama – SUNNYS Animal Clinic (Director: Tatsunori Sakurai) will hold a "Fundamental Treatment Seminar" on July 20, 2026 (Monday, holiday) at "Navios Yokohama" in Bashamichi, Yokohama. Veterinarian Rumi Kakuya will also speak, explaining an approach to pet kidney disease that considers lifestyle changes rather than relying on medication or surgery, supported by scientific evidence.

The "treatment method not relying on medication," independently devised by the clinic's director, Tatsunori Sakurai, caused controversy at the animal hospital where he worked. However, his innovative approach gradually gained attention, leading him to open his own practice in Asahikawa to realize his ideals.

He later moved his base to Ibaraki and continued to disseminate information through social media, resulting in a flood of online consultations from across the country, and he became widely known as the "Reiwa Mutsugoro."

The foundation of the seminar is the e-book "The Day the Owner Surpassed the Veterinarian - For Owners Who Want to Improve Their Pet's Illness Without Relying on Medication or Surgery" (available on Amazon Kindle), authored by clinic director Tatsunori Sakurai.

Clinic Director Tatsunori Sakurai, the author of the book, will also participate as a special guest. A social gathering is planned for a separate venue after the event.
