Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Sunflower Launches "Direct Access Plan" for the 25th Surutto KANSAI Bus Festival

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Sunflower (President: Hirotoshi Ushioku) has planned a "Direct Access Plan" for convenient access for visitors from the Kyushu area to the "25th Surutto KANSAI Bus Festival" to be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Expo '70 Commemorative Park (Osaka Prefecture). This plan will be sold as a travel product organized by Sunflower Travel Co., Ltd., a group company.

This project is a collaboration with the "25th Surutto KANSAI Bus Festival," implemented in cooperation with bus operators based in the Kansai area and our company, with the aim of creating new demand for event attendance and revitalizing human traffic between Kyushu and Kansai. For travel from Kyushu to Osaka, visitors can use a ferry that combines travel and accommodation. After disembarking the ferry, a direct bus to the venue, specially arranged in collaboration with bus operators for this project, will be provided. This allows direct access to the venue on the day of the event while reducing the burden of long-distance travel. This project aims to reduce the complexity and hassle of long-distance travel, providing an opportunity to enjoy the event more comfortably. As a special participation benefit, original novelty goods will be presented as souvenirs to create travel memories.
