Suiki Kikou Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Toru Furukawa; hereinafter "Suiki Kikou"), which primarily engages in the design, construction, and management of water and sewage facilities as well as environmental conservation and sanitation facilities, has announced the commencement of applications for its "1-Day Job Experience (Internship)" program. The internship, aimed at science students (graduating in 2028), will be held sequentially starting summer 2026.

This year's internship offers participants the opportunity to experience one of three roles: electrical design, water quality technology, or construction management at water purification plants.

Through practical workshops using real equipment (such as booster pumps and water level sensors) and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to create ladder diagrams for operation control circuits, participants will experience the joy of creation when their designs work as intended.

【1-Day Job Experience: Designing Equipment for New Water Purification Plants Based on Water Quality】 Overview

Work alongside technical staff to design appropriate water treatment flows based on raw water quality data. Through hands-on experiences such as coagulation tests (using coagulants to aggregate turbidity) and filtration experiments using PET bottles, participants will gain insight into the depth of water treatment engineering and discover inspiration for their future careers.
