Ahead of this, the company has begun accepting applications today from refugee support organizations (both existing Syncable users and those considering new use) to be featured on the page.

About the Special Feature Page

■ Background: Connecting Interest in Refugee Issues to 'Support Actions'

Due to the situation in Ukraine and ongoing conflicts worldwide, the number of people forcibly displaced is increasing. After displacement, they face multifaceted challenges including housing, education, healthcare, employment, and legal procedures. In Japan, creating an environment where refugees and displaced persons can live with peace of mind and access necessary information, social resources, and employment opportunities is a critical social issue. June 20, 'World Refugee Day', is an important opportunity for many people to focus on these issues.

Meanwhile, organizers launching donation campaigns for refugee support have expressed concerns, saying, 'We want to reach more people with the necessity of our activities, but individual outreach has its limits,' and 'Even if we create a campaign, we struggle to find ways to expand awareness.'

Therefore, Syncable has decided to launch a 'Special Feature Page' that aggregates and introduces donation campaigns related to refugee support. This aims to make it easier for people to find activities by organizations addressing issues surrounding refugees and displaced persons, and to provide opportunities for donors and those interested in these issues to understand the background and use of donations.

Starting today, we are accepting applications for donation campaigns (projects) to be featured on this page (within the official Syncable note).

The special page will clearly introduce donation campaigns on Syncable that are being developed with multifaceted approaches, ranging from refugee acceptance and settlement support in Japan to humanitarian aid in overseas refugee camps. It will provide a space where media and the public can deepen their understanding of the current state of refugee issues, the background of the challenges, the activities of the recipient organizations, and the use of donations, allowing them to find specific support destinations that align with their interests and empathy.

Eligible Campaigns (Projects)
- Organizations working on rights protection, infrastructure building, and institutional issues regarding refugee recognition and residency status for refugees and displaced persons in Japan and around the world.
*Limited to organizations that have already launched a campaign (crowdfunding) on Syncable, or those that will launch a new campaign in conjunction with this feature.
