Disney on Classic ~The Magical Night Concert 2026~ Announced for Sapporo! Featuring "Let It Go ~Show Yourself~" and the animated film "Frozen"!

The "Disney on Classic ~The Magical Night Concert 2026~" will be held on Saturday, October 31st, and Sunday, November 1st, 2026, at the Sapporo Cultural Arts Theater hitaru. "Disney on Classic ~The Magical Night Concert~" is Japan's largest orchestral concert tour, presenting music from Disney animations, films, and theme parks with live performances by an orchestra and vocalists active in New York. This year marks the 24th performance, and we will feature "Frozen" with the theme "Let It Go ~Show Yourself~"! We will deliver the story that inspires strength to break free and courage to take a new step, along with famous songs such as "Let It Go," "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?," and "In Summer." In addition, please enjoy the world of Disney, woven with music, visuals, and lighting, from titles like "Aladdin," "Moana 2," "Encanto," "Tarzan," and "The Lion King 2." *Photos are from past performances. Performers Richard Carsey (Conductor) Active as a conductor, arranger, pianist, actor, and lyricist. He has been involved as music director and conductor in numerous productions, including the Broadway and national tours of the musical "The Phantom of the Opera," the national tour of the Broadway revival "La Cage aux Folles," and the national tour of the musical "Little House on the Prairie." He served as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor at the Skylight Music Theatre in Milwaukee for many years, conducting over 60 performances, including world premieres. His activities as a pianist and conductor extend beyond the United States to over 25 countries, including Peru and Greece. THE ORCHESTRA JAPAN Debuted at "Disney on Classic ~Spring Concert 2015~." Since then, they have continuously appeared in "Disney on Classic," and their performances that draw listeners into the story have been highly acclaimed across the country. Celebrating their 10th anniversary in May 2025, this orchestra is expected to achieve further leaps forward as an ensemble that relentlessly pursues music that touches the heartstrings, unconstrained by genre or the conventional idea of an orchestra. Vocalists Foreign vocalists selected through auditions will visit Japan! Their first-class singing and dancing performances will bring a glamorous stage to life! Francesco Sasaki (Navigator) Has served as the narrator for "The Magical Night Concert" since 2008.
