The TV anime Detective Conan, which began airing on January 8, 1996, is marking its 30th broadcast anniversary with the “TV Anime Detective Conan 30th Anniversary Exhibition,” currently being held at the special venue on the 3rd floor of Sapporo Factory Sanjo-kan until Sunday, May 31. The exhibition offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the Detective Conan TV anime is made through areas focused on storyboards, voice recording, theme songs, and more. Visitors can follow the production process as drawings are colored, characters begin to move and speak, and the anime takes shape. The exhibition also features displays collecting memorable scenes from the past 30 years, a special movie, and exhibition-exclusive merchandise. Weekday visitors will receive a limited “Sapporo venue original card.” One card will be randomly distributed from seven Sapporo-exclusive designs using newly drawn exhibition artwork. Note: This gift is limited to paid visitors on weekdays only. Designs are distributed at random and cannot be selected. Quantities are limited and distribution will end once supplies run out. Card size is 54 mm × 86 mm, suitable for placing inside a smartphone case. Images are for illustration purposes only. Sapporo venue-exclusive items are also available, including a canvas-style postcard (Sapporo venue version) and an acrylic diorama (Sapporo venue version). For more details on original exhibition goods and highlights, please check the official event website.
