Toriden Betuatsurae, an annex of the famous Hakata Mizutaki Toriden, is launching its summer-only sweets brand 'Betsuatsurae no Ryo' for the 2026 season. Operating from May 18th to August 31st, the shop offers a high-end shaved ice experience focused on local craftsmanship and ingredients.

### Featured Menu

- **Amaou Strawberry with Fresh Berries (2,500 JPY incl. tax)** This dish uses a rich confiture and generous amounts of pulp from Itoshima-grown Amaou strawberries, a renowned Fukuoka brand. It is served with sliced fresh strawberries and optional condensed milk. Note: Amaou strawberries are available until the end of May, followed by seasonal flavors like Yuzu or Coffee.

- **Matcha Kinmotsu with Yame Premium Matcha & Warabimochi (2,500 JPY incl. tax)** Featuring 100% first-harvest tea from Yame’s Hoshino Tea Garden, the matcha is whisked right in front of the customer to ensure peak aroma and texture. It is accompanied by Hokkaido red beans and handmade warabimochi.

### Tea Selection Customers can choose from three types of tea—Houjicha, Genmaicha, or Wakoucha (Japanese Black Tea)—all sourced from the Hoshino Tea Garden, known for its award-winning Gyokuro and Matcha production.

### Space and Design The shop features an exclusive 6-seat counter made of warm Ginkgo wood. The interior is decorated with seasonal bonsai and floral arrangements by coordinator Takuya Shimazu. The entrance showcases a traditional 'Iwai-musubi' (celebratory knot) against a backdrop of historic 'Suishaban' (waterwheel boards), symbolizing safety, good fortune, and the connection between people.
