Corporate Sales Challenges: "Individualization," "AI Used Only for Personal Use," and "Data Silos"

In the field of corporate sales, "individualization," where performance depends on the intuition, experience, and connections of a few top salespeople and cannot be reproduced by the organization, has been a long-standing issue.

In recent years, the spread of generative AI has improved individual productivity in tasks such as summarizing meeting minutes and creating documents. However, much of its application remains at the individual level, and it has not yet led to widespread utilization that elevates the entire sales organization from the bottom up.

The root cause of this is data silos. Much of the qualitative information exchanged in negotiations, such as customer issues and sentiment, is not retained in a structured format in SFA/CRM and is instead scattered across individual memories or multiple tools, failing to accumulate as organizational assets. When attempting to solve sales challenges, the lack of foundational information hinders progress.

At IDEATECH, qualitative information was dispersed across multiple tools such as Pipedrive, ChatGPT, Slack, and ChatWork, and AI utilization was limited to summarizing meeting minutes. This resulted in a situation where "which content to deliver to which company at what timing" depended on the implicit knowledge of top salespeople.

In response to these challenges, IDEATECH proposes its proprietary sales methodology, "Content Sales®."

"Content Sales®" is a concept that places the "solution to the customer's problem" at the center of sales, rather than the "product." Overview of Demonstration Experiment: Building a "Sales Data Foundation" to Transform Negotiations into Organizational Assets

The core of this demonstration experiment is to transform individualized and siloed negotiation information into an "sales data foundation" that can be utilized by the organization.

1. Structuring and accumulating qualitative negotiation information with zero manual input

By simply having STRIX attend negotiations, qualitative negotiation information, which was previously scattered across individual memories and multiple tools, is automatically structured with zero manual input and accumulated in SFA/CRM.

This builds a "sales data foundation" that can be searched and analyzed across the organization while minimizing the effort for reporting and recording.

2. Executing "Analysis → Content Recommendation → Follow-up Execution" as a unified process on the foundation

By comprehensively analyzing the accumulated data with AI, we can visualize "winning patterns" and barriers to closing deals that were not apparent in individual negotiations, enabling an overview of negotiation performance.

3. Operating within the existing workflow

Specifically, STRIX automatically joins and records negotiations by integrating with Google Calendar, and performs analysis optimized for each negotiation genre (first meeting/subsequent meetings/discussion/onboarding).

STRIX specializes in the sales side (accumulation, structuring, and analysis of negotiation logs), while Pipedrive is used for delivery management and customer success operations, allowing for a phased transition without disrupting existing operations.

Future Outlook: From Solving On-site Issues to Improving Overall Sales Organization Performance

Both companies aim to create a virtuous cycle that leads to improved overall sales organization performance, starting with solving on-site issues.

STRIX will begin by reducing the burden of tasks such as meeting minutes organization and reporting, making daily operations easier. In the process, valuable negotiation data that was previously lost will naturally accumulate within the organization. The accumulated data will serve as the foundation for AI utilization that boosts the entire sales organization from the bottom up, such as reproducing winning patterns and optimizing next actions.

STRIX aims for a world where individual productivity improves, and as more data is collected, the organization's order acceptance rate and productivity increase.
