Popular MECACARI Pop-up Store Returns This Year, Offering Archive Items from Favorite Brands at Special Prices

Stripe International Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture; President and CEO: Shoji KAWABE) will sequentially open "MECACARI STORE," a limited-time pop-up store promoting sustainable fashion, at various locations across Japan. The "MECACARI STORE" is a temporary shop embodying MECACARI's philosophy of enjoying fashion more freely and more sustainably.

Following last year's success and positive feedback from many customers, the event will be held again this year. At this store, archive items from popular Stripe International brands including earth music&ecology and AMERICAN HOLIC will be available at special prices with discounts of up to 70% off.

Additionally, through this store, we will promote MECACARI's concept of "circular fashion" introduced by its fashion rental service. We aim to raise awareness and understanding of rental services by proposing a new fashion option—renting and enjoying clothes as needed, rather than only purchasing.

Fashion rental services are gaining attention as a sustainable choice, allowing people to enjoy diverse styles more casually while also reducing waste by circulating clothing items.

About the Fashion Subscription Service "MECACARI"

"MECACARI" is a fashion rental app offering unlimited rentals of new items from popular brands such as earth music&ecology, AMERICAN HOLIC, and YECCA VECCA, under the concept of "unlimited rentals for a fixed monthly fee."

Users can rent at least one new item at a time and exchange items as often as they like.

Favorite items can be kept permanently—no return required—if rented continuously for 60 days.

MECACARI proposes a new lifestyle of "renting everyday wear," allowing users to enjoy a wide selection of apparel curated by a fashion manufacturer.
