A Challenge to Connect with the World: Strider Cup World Championship 2026 to be Held

Strider Japan, operated by Ampus Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Suginami-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazushi Okajima), is pleased to announce that the "Strider Cup World Championship 2026 (12-inch class)" will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida, USA.

What is the Strider Cup World Championship?

The "Strider Cup World Championship" is a race event where Strider kids from all over the world gather. Started in the United States in 2011, this tournament, which has been held in various locations, will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2026. This commemorative year, it will be held in Sarasota, Florida, "the birthplace of everything," bringing together many riders from countries around the world.

The race will be held on a track scheduled to be used for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics qualifiers. This will be a special opportunity for children worldwide to ride together.

Strider Japan will provide support for Strider families challenging the world, including disseminating information about participation. Furthermore, travel support (worth 100,000 yen) will be provided to the first person in each class to encourage their challenge to the World Championship. In addition, original goods are planned for Strider families participating from Japan.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, the "Strider Cup World Championship" will be held not only as a race but also as an international event where Strider families from around the world can interact.

The venue will feature many contents for visitors to enjoy, such as local exhibitor booths, games, and prize giveaways. Furthermore, a beach party where participants can interact is planned for the following day, Sunday, October 11.

Many Strider kids from Japan have challenged this tournament in the past, with past champions emerging and years where they won awards in all categories. Becoming a world champion is by no means a dream.

Families not participating in the race and general visitors can also watch, experiencing firsthand the sight of children from around the world giving their all.
