What is the Strider Cup?
The Strider Cup is the original youngest racer event in the world.
Since Strider Japan first held it in Japan in 2010, it has now become an official race held in various countries around the world. The venue is packed with content for children to explore, not just races, but also various experience-based activities and Strider content. It is a festival event where Strider kids from all over the country gather, with children as the main stars.
"Taiyo Stage" Returns to Osaka After One Year
In 2026, the Strider Cup will return to Osaka after a one-year hiatus.
The venue is the "Omatsuri Hiroba" (Festival Plaza) at Expo '70 Commemorative Park, a major leisure spot representing Osaka, where the symbolic Tower of the Sun stands tall.
Strider kids from all over the country will gather at this place, watched over by the Tower of the Sun.
Children will stand at their respective starting lines and move forward by kicking the ground with their own feet.
This is a place where the "power of children" within each child manifests into form.
The scene unfolding under the blue sky and the Tower of the Sun will be a "stage for children's growth" that goes beyond a mere race, leaving a lasting memory for attendees over the two days.
