Stratasys' updates to hardware, software, and materials have the potential to drive the widespread adoption and growth of additive manufacturing.

'These innovations are designed to solve the real-world challenges manufacturers face when adopting and scaling additive manufacturing. By focusing on continuous investment and development across our product portfolio and working closely with our customers, we are committed to lowering barriers to adoption and unlocking the immense value additive manufacturing brings throughout the entire production workflow,' said Rich Garrity, Chief Business Unit Officer at Stratasys.

Expansion of ULTEM™ resin products for industrial growth

ULTEM™ 1010 resin is now available as a filament for F3300® printers. This enables the manufacturing of aerospace-grade, high-temperature parts with the lowest coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent heat resistance in the FDM technology portfolio. Optimized for composite tooling, ULTEM™ 1010 resin maintains the accuracy and reliability of jigs and tools even in harsh environments. Combined with the high-speed printing and built-in material drying capabilities of the F3300® printer, manufacturers can significantly reduce the cost per part while producing high-performance components.

Furthermore, to support long-duration production lines using the Fortus FDC™ filament dryer, ULTEM™ 1010 filament is scheduled to be available in large-capacity spool sizes starting this summer. When used in combination with compatible F900® and Fortus® 450mc™ Gen III printers, the Fortus FDC dryer provides built-in material drying capabilities to support longer, uninterrupted printing. This allows manufacturers to produce industrial parts capable of withstanding high temperatures more efficiently and with greater consistency.

Photocurable materials designed for practical applications

P3™ Deflect™ 110 resin for Origin printers makes additive manufacturing a viable option for production parts subjected to high temperatures and mechanical stress, such as automotive connectors, brackets, jigs, fixtures, and other demanding engineering applications.

Loctite® 3D IND3785 Low Migration for Origin® 3D printers meets the needs for small-batch production compliant with United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Union (EU) regulations in food and pharmaceutical environments. This material achieves surface finishes and accuracy comparable to injection molding while maintaining the flexibility of additive manufacturing.

Using the PolyJet ToughONE White material for J3 and J5 systems, teams can create durable prototypes that withstand breakage, bending, and repetitive testing. Prototypes that behave closely to the final product allow design teams to accelerate iterative design and validation. PolyJet ToughONE Black offers high visual contrast while maintaining the toughness and dimensional stability comparable to traditional materials, strongly supporting functional demos, application testing, and impactful design reviews.
