Yu Usami Senior Product Engineer

After developing at two North American startups, Yu Usami joined CircleCI in 2019. Serving as a Staff Engineer there since 2022, Usami led the development of CI/CD job execution infrastructure and infrastructure cost improvements. In 2023, Usami joined Freee K.K., and since 2024, has driven architectural problem-solving across multiple products as Principal Architect. In 2025, Usami promoted AI agent integration and infrastructure development. In February 2026, Usami joined STRACT Inc. as Senior Product Engineer, leveraging abundant experience from global companies and domestic major SaaS to build engineering organizations for the AI era.
