Jang Dong-gun to Hold Special Fan Meeting in Japan for the First Time in 13 Years

STORY WORKS Co., Ltd. will hold Jang Dong-gun’s special fan meeting, “2026 Jang Dong Gun’s STORY: A Letter of Thanks from a Gentleman,” on September 21, 2026, at I’M A SHOW in Yurakucho, Tokyo. Actor Jang Dong-gun, one of the pioneers of the Korean Wave, is set to hold a special fan meeting in Japan for the first time in 13 years. The Tokyo event will mark his first fan meeting in Japan since his interaction with fans there in 2013. Jang has met with fans in Japan through events such as his 2007 fan meeting at Nippon Budokan, the 2009 Tokyo Dome event “Four of a Kind,” and a 2013 event at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa. When he visited Japan in 2024 for the Japan premiere of his starring film “A Normal Family,” he was deeply moved by the passion of Japanese fans.
