This summer, explore more than just dinosaurs—step into the worlds of savannas, deep seas, and polar regions. The 'Animal Kingdom Adventure Exhibition,' co-presented by Florence Creative, the National Taiwan Science Education Center, and the University of Pisa Natural History Museum, will run from July 11 to October 11, 2026, at the Science Education Center. It combines real animal specimens, immersive light and projection, interactive technology, and moving mechanical dinosaurs to deliver a world-class natural history adventure.
Six Ecosystems in One Journey: Up-Close Encounters with Real Specimens
Breaking away from traditional specimen displays, the exhibition features six major ecosystem zones: forest, grassland, desert, ocean, polar regions, and the prehistoric world. Visitors will journey like explorers through diverse habitats. On-site, authentic animal specimens preserved and crafted using world-leading techniques will showcase species’ appearances, anatomical structures, and evolutionary traits in exquisite detail.
Florence Creative, the organizer, states that the exhibition is curated by an internationally award-winning team and fully supported and guided by the University of Pisa Natural History Museum. The goal is to allow visitors to experience the intricacy of life up close and appreciate both the grandeur and fragility of the natural world through an engaging blend of education and entertainment.
Immersive Light and Sound: Instantly Transported to African Savannas and Mysterious Deep Seas
Upon entering, visitors will be instantly immersed in the African savanna through large-scale panoramic projections, surround sound, atmospheric environments, and digital interactions, witnessing the awe-inspiring spectacle of animal migrations. In the next moment, they’ll dive into the mysterious deep sea, embarking on a magical journey surrounded by schools of fish.
The exhibition also guides visitors of all ages into polar ice fields, deserts, and forests, observing how animals have evolved unique survival skills in response to climate, terrain, and environmental changes. Each scene is not only photogenic and fun but also embedded with essential knowledge about animal-environment symbiosis.
Moving Mechanical Dinosaurs: Journey Through Hundreds of Millions of Years of Life
Dinosaur enthusiasts won’t want to miss the prehistoric life zone. Featuring large-scale scenic installations and animatronic dinosaurs, it recreates ancient Earth’s life forms, transporting visitors across hundreds of millions of years to explore how species evolution and environmental changes shaped the rise and fall of life.
The organizers extend the exhibition’s concept to ESG and sustainability education, highlighting biodiversity, climate change, and marine and forest conservation. It reminds visitors that humans are not mere observers of nature—every lifestyle choice can impact Earth’s future.
A 70th Anniversary Highlight: Transforming the Exhibition into a Sustainable Classroom
Dr. Liu Huo-Chin, Director of the National Taiwan Science Education Center, stated that as the center celebrates its 70th anniversary, this exhibition aims to be more than a visually stunning experience—it aspires to become a vivid classroom for sustainability education.
The exhibition aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including quality education, climate action, marine and terrestrial ecosystem conservation. Through entertaining yet educational displays, it encourages visitors to understand the value of biodiversity and the impact of climate change on natural environments.
Dr. Liu invites visitors of all ages to explore the six ecosystems and travel through prehistoric worlds, not only to uncover the mysteries of life but also to reflect on humanity’s relationship with nature.
