Currently, as part of the "New Acquisitions Exhibition: 'Expo Experience Partner, Handheld Devices Exhibition'" being held at the Osaka Municipal Museum of Natural History, it has been decided that a portion of the cards used for the AR (Augmented Reality) experience "Gochamaze Orchestra," a component of the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo Signature Pavilion "Playground of Life Jellyfish Pavilion" (hereinafter referred to as the "Jellyfish Pavilion"), will be exhibited from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, April 12. Furthermore, during the exhibition period, visitors will irregularly have the opportunity to experience "Gochamaze Orchestra" using AR cards (selected 5 cards). The AR experience "Gochamaze Orchestra" is a product planned and developed by steAm Inc. (Location: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Sachiko Nakajima, hereinafter "steAm") in collaboration with the Jellyfish Pavilion team and Hikari no Kuni Inc. (hereinafter "Hikari no Kuni").
"Gochamaze Orchestra" was permanently installed last year on the ground floor of the Jellyfish Pavilion, in the "Playground of Fluctuating Life," as one of the interactive and playful mechanisms that utilize the five senses. Sachiko Nakajima, who served as the producer of the pavilion, expanded upon her concept of "Augmented Music Playground" from when she was working in media art in NY. At the exhibition venue in the Jellyfish Pavilion, it became a very popular playground where people of different generations gathered to enjoy the resulting symphony of sounds and visuals created by holding multiple cards in front of the camera. This mechanism has been partially inherited after the Expo as an AR version of the picture book "Clara and the Tree of Creation" and the commercialization of AR picture book cards, and it has now become something that anyone can enjoy in daily life. The cards are provided by Hikari no Kuni, and various artists, including picture book authors, have drawn diverse illustrations. The AR software is provided by steAm (in cooperation with T&S Co., Ltd.), and the sound source uses recordings of performances by musicians, centered around KURAGE Band (steAm).

Overview of the New Acquisitions Exhibition 'Expo Experience Partner, Handheld Devices Exhibition'
The Osaka Municipal Museum of Natural History has urgently collected notable 'handheld devices' that transformed exhibition viewing into an 'active experience' at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo. Through actual exhibits, we envision the transformation of exhibition styles presented with the Expo as an opportunity.
