Stayway Provides Subsidy DX Service 'Hojokin Cloud for Gov' to Akita Prefecture

Stayway (Location: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; CEO: Jun Sato; hereinafter 'Stayway'), operator of the 'Hojokin Cloud', will provide its subsidy DX service for local governments, 'Hojokin Cloud for Government' (hereinafter 'Hojokin Cloud for Gov'), to Akita Prefecture. With this initiative, the company aims to support the centralization of subsidy information dispersed within the local government and the effective dissemination of information to local businesses.

'Hojokin Cloud for Gov' is a service for local governments launched in May 2026. The implementation in Akita Prefecture is the second nationwide case following Aomori City. Moving forward, Stayway will use this initiative as a role model to expand nationwide, while supporting the DX of subsidy administration in local governments and promoting growth investments by local companies based on the 'Hojokin Cloud for Gov'.

Background of the Service Provision

Traditionally, local governments have deployed various support measures to assist local businesses in solving management issues and pursuing growth investments. However, as the departments responsible for subsidy systems are separated by the soliciting entity, and support systems have become increasingly diverse and complex in recent years, building a structure to comprehensively grasp and guide these measures has become an urgent issue.

Furthermore, local businesses face challenges such as being unable to identify systems suitable for their company or being unaware of the systems themselves. In addition to conventional awareness methods, there is a demand for creating new mechanisms to deliver information to businesses swiftly and accurately.

Focusing on the 'solicitor's challenge' in subsidy utilization—where information fails to adequately reach the companies that need it even when systems are expanded—Stayway launched 'Hojokin Cloud for Gov' in May 2026 to support the advancement of subsidy administration.

Given this background, Stayway will provide 'Hojokin Cloud for Gov' to Akita Prefecture with the aim of advancing subsidy administration and developing an environment where local businesses in Akita Prefecture can utilize support systems more smoothly and effectively.

The pillars of this initiative are the centralization of subsidy information dispersed within the prefecture and the establishment of a system for timely information provision from the local government to businesses. Furthermore, by utilizing a database covering information from the national government and other departments, prefectural staff will be able to provide more multifaceted and value-added consultation responses.

Additionally, for local businesses wishing to apply for subsidies, Stayway will provide application support from experts such as certified public accountants and administrative scriveners affiliated with Hojokin Cloud.
