A Day to Create a Chain of Challenges from Shizuoka: SVSA 2nd Anniversary "Shizusta SUMMIT 2026" to be held on Friday, April 10 at M20 in Shizuoka

The Shizuoka Venture Startup Association (SVSA, Location: Aoi-ku, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Representative Director: Yutaka Shinohara) will hold the conference event "Shizusta SUMMIT 2026" to commemorate its 2nd anniversary, from 10:00 to 20:00 on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Shizuoka City M20 Building (20 Miyuki-cho, Aoi-ku, Shizuoka City).

This will be a day where government bodies such as Shizuoka Prefecture, Shizuoka City, Hamamatsu City, and Susono City, along with support organizations, investors, startups, and local communities, will gather to discuss and share the current state of Shizuoka's startup ecosystem and the future vision envisioned by all of Shizuoka.

At the venue, we aim to create a chain of new challenges from the region through presentations on startup support strategies by the government, governor and mayor sessions, pitches by startups adopted for fund support, investor and support organization sessions, introductions of case studies from outside the prefecture, community sessions, and networking events.

About "Shizusta SUMMIT 2026"

"Shizusta SUMMIT 2026" is an event aimed at achieving economic development for all of Shizuoka by bringing together entrepreneurs, businesses, and supporters of ventures, startups, and new businesses in Shizuoka to share their strategies and initiatives and to interact with each other.

In 2026, the event will be held in conjunction with the 2nd anniversary of the establishment of the Shizuoka Venture Startup Association (SVSA), aiming to function as a hub where diverse players from inside and outside the prefecture gather.

On the day of the event, there will be presentations on startup support strategies by Shizuoka Prefecture, Shizuoka City, Hamamatsu City, and Susono City, as well as sessions by Shizuoka Prefectural Governor Yasutomo Suzuki, Shizuoka City Mayor Takashi Namba, and Hamamatsu City Mayor Yusuke Nakano. Additionally, there will be pitches by startups adopted for fund support, discussions on the current state and challenges of regional revitalization from the perspective of VCs, financial institutions, and support organizations, advanced case studies from national and other prefectural governments, sessions by local communities, and networking/social gatherings, providing opportunities for cross-sectoral discussions and networking among government, private sector, and communities.

• Creation of opportunities for concrete co-creation projects, business partnerships, recruitment, and investment considerations for startups/new businesses.

• Providing opportunities for young people, students, and U25 challengers to meet role models and envision their "next step."
