New products appearing at Starbucks Tea & Cafe this season, as the new tea season arrives, are developed with respect for Japanese tea, focusing on 'Sencha' and 'Matcha' to offer products that allow customers to enjoy the charm of Japanese tea. It's finished with Kuromitsu (black sugar syrup) mousse, then topped with Kuromitsu and Kinako (roasted soybean flour). This beverage can be enjoyed like a fragrant and elegant "Japanese dessert," weaving together the depth of matcha and the refreshing taste of sencha.
'Sencha Matcha Green Tea Sparkling' is a refreshing matcha x soda beverage made by combining our carefully extracted original sencha-infused blended tea with matcha to create a sencha-matcha base, then mixing it with tonic water and Starbucks' original green citrus flavored syrup. This drink spreads the deep umami of matcha, the fresh aroma of sencha, and the scent of green citrus, offering a refreshing sensation for all five senses.
'Sencha Matcha Craft Tea Latte' is a sencha tea latte meticulously prepared one cup at a time using a tea strainer, by slowly extracting the tea leaves from the Tea & Cafe's original sencha blend and combining it with milk. The sencha blend, crafted to bring out a fresh aroma, the umami of Gyokuro, the roasted flavor of Genmai, and the richness of roasted Gyokuro and roasted stem tea, is blended with milk for a creamy finish and topped with matcha powder. It offers a soothing taste perfect for a moment of relaxation.
