Starbucks Coffee Japan, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Hisae Morii) will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2026, since the opening of its first store in Ginza, Tokyo, on August 2, 1996. Over these 30 years, Starbucks, together with approximately 300,000 partners (employees), has expanded to 2,100 stores across all 47 prefectures, delivering approximately 6 billion 'thank yous' to customers.

The choice to combine the passion poured into each beverage with a system that continuously delivers it. For 30 years, Starbucks has upheld and evolved its 'Third Place' concept, centered on this attitude, which Starbucks calls 'romance and efficiency.' As we approach our 30th anniversary this year, Starbucks will further deepen this 'romance and efficiency' approach, delivering the Starbucks experience through investment in people, co-creation with local communities, and new store experiences.

The theme for the first phase of Starbucks' 30th anniversary is 'Returning to the Origin, Surpassing the Origin.' From the history of Frappuccino®, which has delivered over 2 billion cups in 30 years, popular masterpiece Frappuccino® from the past will reappear in an evolved form. At Starbucks stores nationwide (excluding some stores), only one type of Frappuccino® can be found at each store. 'THE STAR Frappuccino®,' offering the joy of searching for and discovering 5 masterpieces, will be released on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. Can you complete all 5 masterpieces during the period?! This project features a lineup of popular flavors that have been loved by many customers, such as Melon, Fruit Yogurt, Coffee Jelly, Kaga Bo Hojicha, and Chunky Cookie, all undergoing a 'special evolution' unique to the 30th anniversary. We offer a special Frappuccino® experience unique to the 30th anniversary, with the fun of searching for and visiting stores to find the 5 masterpieces, and encountering a different drink at each store. Information on stores handling each product will be provided on the official website and social media.

Furthermore, the loyalty program 'Starbucks® Rewards' will simultaneously hold 'The Star Frappuccino® Quest' campaign, where 100 customers who purchase 3 eligible products will be entered into a lottery to win 'a year's supply of Frappuccino®'*. What is 'THE STAR Frappuccino®'?

Only one type of Frappuccino® can be found at each store. Five Frappuccino® selected based on the voices of partners nationwide will appear in an evolved form. Over Starbucks' 30-year history, countless Frappuccino® have been born. Among them, many 'memorable drinks' have been loved across generations. 'THE STAR Frappuccino®' is a special lineup of 5 types, chosen based on partner feedback, symbolizing that history.

・ Melon: The most anticipated Frappuccino® with the biggest pre-launch excitement.

・ Fruit Yogurt: The 'must-drink now' Frappuccino® chosen for today's era.

・ Coffee Jelly: The most coffee-like Frappuccino® expressing Starbucks' coffee-ness.

Each of these 5 types was chosen as 'a drink symbolizing today's Starbucks.' While preserving the original taste, these Frappuccino® have been updated in terms of ingredients, texture, and aroma to suit modern sensibilities. They will appear with an 'evolved deliciousness' befitting the 30th anniversary.

A melon experience beyond melon, with chunky fruit pulp. 'THE Frappuccino® of Melon of Melon'

This Frappuccino® combines rich domestic red flesh musk melon pulp with a melon base and melon-flavored whipped cream, offering an experience as if you're tasting only the 'best parts' of a perfectly ripe melon. Using red flesh musk melon pulp and layering it with melon sauce made from domestic red flesh musk melon juice, you can enjoy a juicy fruitiness and rich aroma with every sip. In this 30th-anniversary version, the amount of red flesh melon pulp has been increased, achieving the largest amount of melon pulp ever in a product released by Starbucks Coffee Japan*. The different melon flavors layer on top of each other, delivering a 'melon experience beyond melon.' As a special drink for the 30th anniversary, this is a definitive version of the melon Frappuccino® that further evolves the beloved melon Frappuccino®.

A 'drinking fruit yogurt experience' that satisfies in one cup.

'THE Frappuccino® of Fruit-on-Top-Yogurt with Crushed Nuts'

This Frappuccino® offers a 'satisfying drinking fruit yogurt experience' by layering the refreshing taste of yogurt with juicy fruits. It blends light yogurt, milk, and classic syrup to create a mellow and smooth 'yogurt sensation.' In this 30th-anniversary version, yogurt is added to the bottom of the cup, further enhancing the yogurt flavor compared to the previous 'Fruit-on-Top-Yogurt Frappuccino® with Crushed Nuts,' achieving a depth of flavor unexpected from a Frappuccino®. It's topped with a mixed fruit jelly containing four types of fruit pulp: strawberry, yellow peach, orange, and white peach, spreading a refreshing tartness and fruit sweetness from the first sip. Furthermore, crushed almonds, deeply roasted specifically for Frappuccino®, are added to provide a fragrant texture and nutty richness as an accent, allowing you to enjoy the changing flavors from the combination of ingredients. This drink combines the creaminess of yogurt, the vibrancy of fruits, and the fragrance of nuts, offering a dessert-like satisfaction and refreshing drinkability. It's a perfect Frappuccino® to start a refreshing morning.

A bittersweet coffee jelly experience. 'THE Frappuccino® of Coffee Jelly'

This Frappuccino® offers a 'bittersweet coffee jelly experience' where you can enjoy the deliciousness of coffee from top to bottom. A Frappuccino® base blended with coffee is topped with coffee whipped cream, bringing out a fragrant and deep coffee flavor.

At the bottom of the cup, Starbucks' original Espresso Roast coffee jelly is used. Its elastic texture and bittersweet taste perfectly complement the sweetness of the Frappuccino®, allowing the coffee flavor to spread as you drink. In this 30th-anniversary version, the whipped cream has evolved into coffee whipped cream compared to the previous Coffee Jelly Frappuccino®, achieving an even richer coffee sensation. A golden Hojicha experience with the aroma of first-flush tea. 'THE Frappuccino® of Kaga Bo Hojicha'

This Frappuccino® offers a 'golden Hojicha experience' with the fragrant aroma and gentle sweetness of 100% first-flush Kaga Bo Hojicha. A Kaga Bo Hojicha base with a rising fragrant aroma is layered with the creamy texture unique to Frappuccino®, creating a drink that fully enjoys the clear taste of Hojicha. In this 30th-anniversary version, chewy warabi mochi made with Kaga Bo Hojicha is used instead of the previous jelly. Furthermore, white mocha flavored whipped cream is added for a mellow sweetness. The topping is sprinkled with 'Kaga Bo Hojicha Powder' made from first-flush Kaga Bo Hojicha, adding a fragrant and textural accent. This is a special drink befitting the 30th anniversary, offering a Japanese aroma and a deep lingering finish.
