This project effectively utilizes previously unused idle land and contributes to the stabilization of the regional power infrastructure. Our company handled the entire process, from land acquisition for the grid-scale battery storage system to construction and final delivery.

Next-Generation Power Infrastructure Utilizing Idle Land

The grid-scale battery storage system completed in Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture, has a megawatt-class scale with an output of 2MW and a capacity of 8MWh. A capacity of 8MWh is equivalent to the daily electricity consumption of approximately 800 households, assuming the average daily electricity consumption of a general household is about 10kWh. This project began with the objective of effectively utilizing long-unused idle land. By introducing large-scale grid-scale battery storage, we are creating new value for the land and playing a role in supporting future social infrastructure as a means to promote renewable energy and adjust power supply and demand.
