STMicroelectronics Announces Wide-Bandwidth 3-Axis Vibration Sensor Contributing to Miniaturization, Power Saving, and Cost Reduction of Industrial Equipment

STMicroelectronics has introduced the 'IIS3DWBG1', a wide-bandwidth 3-axis vibration sensor in a single digital package. Designed for industrial condition monitoring, it operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The sensor's compact size, low power consumption, and high resolution enable early detection of equipment anomalies. It is also suitable for monitoring power electronics modules and EV traction inverters. Currently in mass production, it is priced at approximately $12.00 per 1,000 units.
