STMicroelectronics (NYSE: STM, hereinafter ST) has announced the TSB192 dual op-amp, which features an input offset voltage as low as 20µV, a temperature drift of just 100nV/°C, and an 8MHz gain-bandwidth product. This product achieves extremely high precision in applications requiring a wide operating voltage range.

While op-amps with similar offset voltage typically operate at low voltages, ST's TSB192 operates across a wide voltage range of 4V to 36V. The TSB192 achieves a maximum offset voltage of 30µV across the entire temperature range and maintains low drift, minimizing the need for correction processing in signal processing circuits for industrial, automotive, healthcare, and consumer electronics. With a current consumption of less than 1.9mA per channel, it extends the operating time of battery-powered devices, and its rail-to-rail output maximizes the signal dynamic range.

Thanks to its excellent precision and linearity, the TSB192 provides reproducible and superior performance in analog integrators and measurement circuits for devices such as temperature sensors, medical instruments, electronic scales, and industrial test equipment. Combined with a sufficient gain-bandwidth product, a slew rate of 5V/µs, and input noise of 11nV/√Hz, it improves frequency response and minimizes distortion in amplifiers for transducers, bridges, and strain gauges, as well as in high-precision active filters. Operating from -40°C to 125°C, it is also suitable for automotive applications and features ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) withstand capability of up to 4kV in HBM (Human Body Model).

The TSB192 is currently in mass production and is available in SO-8 and MiniSO-8 packages. The unit price is approximately $1.06 for 1,000 units. Automotive-grade compliant versions are scheduled to be available in the second half of 2026.
