157 People Experience "Motorcycles for Everyone": Public Interest Incorporated Association SSP Holds SSP Light at Sagamihara Park

The Public Interest Incorporated Association SSP (Location: Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Haruchika Aoki) held "SSP Light" at the prefectural event "Tomoiki Yuuenchi Plus in Sagamihara" at Sagamihara Park in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, on March 22, 2026. The weather was favorable on the day, and 157 participants, ranging from children to adults and people with disabilities, enjoyed the motorcycle experience. "SSP Light" is a program designed to lower the hurdles of traditional motorcycle experiences, allowing anyone to participate easily. By using safely designed, hand-pushed vehicles, even first-time riders can experience it with peace of mind. At the venue, many participants were seen smiling as they experienced motorcycles for the first time, and families shared their joy, making it a day that highlighted new possibilities for motorcycles. A free booklet summarizing SSP's activities was also distributed, providing an opportunity for many people to deepen their understanding of the activities. SSP aims to realize a society where everyone can take on challenges by expanding experiential opportunities, including "SSP Light." Furthermore, it will strengthen cooperation with local governments and companies to promote the social implementation of inclusive mobility nationwide. The organization's name is Public Interest Incorporated Association SSP (Side Stand Project), with Haruchika Aoki as Representative Director.
