[Key Lecture Topics]

Amendments to the Comprehensive Promotion Act on Labor Policies and other laws will require employers, effective October 1, 2026, to implement necessary employment management measures regarding customer harassment ("Kasuhara") and sexual harassment against job seekers ("Shukatsu Sekuhara").

In light of the guidelines published by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, companies are expected to complete practical preparations before the effective date, including establishing internal rules, building consultation and response systems, conducting internal awareness campaigns, and clarifying on-site judgment and response procedures.

This seminar will organize key points regarding setting job-hunting rules, internal communication, and rule preparation for Shukatsu Sekuhara. For Kasuhara, it will explain how to distinguish harassment from legitimate complaints, on-site judgment, documentation and response procedures, company-wide system development, rule preparation considering dispute risks, and commonly overlooked points.

We will practically organize the actions that HR, labor management, legal, and compliance departments must confirm ahead of the October 1, 2026 effective date, from both guideline compliance and operational perspectives.
