## Seminar Overview
In July 2023, the European Commission released a proposal for a 'Regulation on Circularity Requirements for Vehicle Design and Management of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV)' to significantly revise the existing End-of-Life Vehicles Directive. Following tripartite negotiations (trilogue) between the European Commission, the Council of the European Union, and the European Parliament held between October and December 2025, a provisional agreement was reached between the Council and Parliament.

This seminar will explain EU environmental policies relevant to the automotive supply chain, specifically circular economy policies and laws (such as the Ecodesign Regulation and the Critical Raw Materials Act), as well as the content of the provisional agreement on the ELV regulation. It will also examine the challenges businesses must address in preparation for the implementation of these new rules.
