S.RIDE Adds 'PayPay' to In-App Payments, Also Supports 'S.RIDE WALLET'

S.RIDE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Yohei Hashimoto; hereinafter 'S.RIDE'), which provides the taxi app 'S.RIDE®', will start supporting online ID payment with 'PayPay', a cashless payment service provided by PayPay Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ichiro Nakayama), from Monday, June 8, 2026.

With this support, by linking their S.RIDE app with PayPay in advance, users will be able to select PayPay as a payment method not only for ride orders placed through the S.RIDE app but also when using 'S.RIDE Wallet'. Additionally, it will be possible to earn both S.RIDE points and PayPay points together.

'PayPay' becomes available for payments on the S.RIDE app

S.RIDE has been expanding its functions to realize a comfortable travel experience, including in-app payment for taxi dispatch using credit cards and the S.RIDE points program. Now, to further broaden users' payment method choices, it will support PayPay online ID payment for ride orders placed via the S.RIDE app.

By linking their S.RIDE app with PayPay in advance, users can use PayPay as a payment method for ride orders placed through the S.RIDE app. Also, PayPay in-app payment becomes possible for 'S.RIDE WALLET', which can be used for payment when boarding street-hailed taxis.

PayPay online ID payment also supports settlement for reserved rides, coupon application, and sending electronic receipts, allowing users to enjoy S.RIDE more conveniently with the PayPay they use daily.

Furthermore, for rides eligible for S.RIDE points, PayPay points will also be awarded in addition to regular S.RIDE points, so users can earn both S.RIDE points and PayPay points together.

*PayPay online ID payment will be sequentially supported from some S.RIDE partner taxi companies. It cannot be used for rideshare vehicles or hire cars.

'PayPay Coupon Campaign' offering up to 15% points back

To coincide with the launch of PayPay online ID payment support, a 'PayPay Coupon Campaign' offering up to 15% PayPay points back will be held. Eligible users are those who acquire the S.RIDE coupon in the PayPay app in advance during the campaign period and complete a ride using PayPay online ID payment in the S.RIDE app. The maximum award is 300 points per person, once per campaign period.
