Commemorative Events to Experience 100 Years of Tochigi Nikko Ice Hockey

The Tochigi Nikko Ice Hockey 100th Anniversary Executive Committee will host a commemorative event titled 'Faceoff to the Future' to pass on the 100-year legacy from the Furukawa Electric Ice Hockey Club, founded in 1925, to H.C. Tochigi Nikko Ice Bucks.

The events will feature panel exhibitions and video screenings tracing 100 years of history, ice hockey shooting experiences, talk sessions with current players, and autograph sessions.

Spportunity will set up a crowdfunding support booth at the venues to assist attendees who wish to contribute to the project.

New Support Tiers for Junior and Women's Teams

The project has successfully reached its first funding goal of 5 million yen, required for the construction of a 100th-anniversary monument.

However, supporting the next generation—junior and women's teams—is essential for securing the next 100 years. We have therefore introduced three new support tiers: 10,000 yen, 30,000 yen, and 100,000 yen, dedicated to junior and women's team development.

All funds raised will be used for nurturing young athletes and community contribution activities.

Spportunity will continue to support this project as part of its mission to preserve regional sports culture and foster the next generation through sports.
