2. Overview of the Writer Award
Currently, Spportunity partners with about 30 writers. The Writer Award is held for these individuals with the following overview:

Once a quarter (January, April, July, October)
* Method
Award-winning columns are selected from those published during each quarterly period (the three months immediately preceding the award month) across the following three categories:
* Award Content
1. Gan-Gan Award
This award recognizes individuals who have actively and energetically contributed 'Gan-Gan' (vigorously) before and after the period, showing remarkable contributions in writing activities beyond their regular duties.
2. Best Column Award
This award selects and recognizes the column that was most read and received the most reader reactions during the target period, based on PV (page view) performance. The target medium is 'Spportunity Column,' and selections are based on PVs within two weeks from the column's publication date.
3. Spportunity Award
This award is given to the column that is most highly evaluated as embodying the philosophy of Spportunity Column: 'evoking empathy from readers through the earnestness and ideas of people who usually do not receive much spotlight' and 'motivating support for hardworking teams and athletes.' Nominated columns are selected, and the column with the most votes from Spportunity members and writers is chosen.
