Passing 500 Artists in One Month Since Launch: SUNO Prompt Dictionary 'prompt-jukebox' Fulfills Roadmap

'prompt-jukebox' is a dictionary-style web service that allows users to instantly generate and copy the prompts needed to achieve 'desired sounds' in SUNO, based on artist music styles. We define this service as a 'SUNO prompt dictionary for the Japanese, by the Japanese, of the Japanese' (inspired by the Gettysburg Address), featuring a Japanese UI, carefully selected artists that resonate with Japanese listeners (ranging from J-POP and kayokyoku to classic rock and pop), and one-click copying functionality.

■ Significance of Reaching 500 Artists
Starting from 300 artists at the official launch on May 7, 2026, we expanded the collection to 500 on May 19. Adding 200 artists in less than a month fulfills the May milestone of our staged expansion roadmap announced at launch: '500 in May, 1,000 in June, 3,500 in August, and 10,000 in December.'

While large-scale prompt dictionary services for English-speaking markets already exist, Japanese-language UIs and selections/explanations from the perspective of Japanese listeners have not been sufficiently maintained. prompt-jukebox aims to be the top choice in the Japanese market as a Japan-specialized service featuring high-quality entries of artists familiar to Japanese listeners.

Along with the expansion to 500 entries, we continue to refine the service. The 'Similar Artist Navigation' feature allows users to jump to other artists with similar musical styles with one click. Even if an artist not currently in the dictionary is clicked, the system carries the name over to the search bar without breaking the page, naturally leading to a request form. This mechanism, which invites users to suggest 'artists to be added next,' is a design feature intended to make the expansion process from 500 to 10,000 entries user-participatory.
