Splashtop Announces Partnership Agreement with Hitachi High-Tech

Splashtop Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yoshiaki Mizuno; hereinafter "Splashtop"), which provides the remote access solution "Splashtop," announced that it has concluded a partnership agreement with Hitachi High-Tech Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yoshimitsu Takagi; hereinafter "Hitachi High-Tech") on May 13, 2026.

In the social infrastructure and industrial technology sectors, as severe labor shortages and decentralization of sites progress, the importance of remote monitoring and maintenance of equipment is increasing. Against this backdrop, there is a demand for mechanisms that can safely and efficiently operate and manage equipment without requiring on-site presence.

Splashtop, with its strength in high-speed and secure remote access technology, is expanding its solution deployment beyond traditional IT uses into the OT (Operational Technology) domain. In particular, it supports the efficient and stable operation of field devices scattered across remote locations through remote support via "Splashtop Remote Support (SOS)" and automation of device management and operation via "Splashtop Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM)."

Through this partnership agreement, both companies will promote collaboration to advance remote access and operation/maintenance management in the social infrastructure and industrial technology sectors. Concurrently, Splashtop's remote access solutions will be deployed to a wider range of customers through Hitachi High-Tech's domestic sales network.

Furthermore, Splashtop has completed operational verification of Splashtop on Armadillo-IoT G4, an industrial edge computing-compatible IoT gateway provided by Atmark Techno Inc., for the joint development of new solutions utilizing edge devices.

Splashtop and Hitachi High-Tech will accelerate the digitalization of on-site operations and the widespread adoption of remote operations, primarily in the social infrastructure and industrial technology sectors.
