SpiderPlus Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Kenji Ito; Securities Code: 4192 Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth; hereinafter "the Company"), which develops and provides the construction DX service "SPIDER+", will conduct a construction DX experience class in tripartite collaboration with Sumi Setsubi Co., Ltd. and Tokai Polytechnic College (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) on Monday, May 25, 2026.

This initiative will be an experiential class replicating construction site management operations within classrooms and equipment practical training rooms. Students will practically learn the series of steps involved in information recording and sharing in site management, utilizing the construction DX tool "SPIDER+".

Amidst the worsening labor shortage in the construction industry, this class aims to deepen understanding of the work and assist in future career choices by experiencing the essential role of construction site management: "correctly recording information on-site and communicating it to stakeholders."

In this class, in addition to lectures on the basic knowledge of site management, students will use tablets and smartphones to experience a series of tasks from taking construction photos, measuring, recording, and creating reports, targeting piping and air-conditioning equipment in the practical training room.

Through a series of processes such as photo taking, linking with drawings, recording numerical data (e.g., airflow measurement), and creating/sharing reports, the flow of "recording, organizing, and communicating" in site management will be replicated in a near-real work environment.

Furthermore, by comparing traditional paper-based management with digital management utilizing the construction DX tool "SPIDER+", the program allows students to experience improvements in work efficiency and changes in working styles.

This initiative is an example of the "Future Talent Project" promoted by the Company, where local construction companies and educational institutions collaborate to provide students with opportunities for practical learning.

In addition, through the collaboration of schools, companies, and the Company, connecting education with practical work, the project aims to foster human resources who will lead the future of the construction industry.

**About the "Future Talent Project"** The "Future Talent Project" is an initiative where schools, companies, and SpiderPlus collaborate to utilize "Academic Plan" (*1), a free license of the construction DX service "SPIDER+" for educational institutions, allowing students to practically experience construction work in class.

Site management is a core role in construction sites, managing the progress, quality, and safety of construction. In this project, students practically learn this work while utilizing "SPIDER+", a construction DX tool that digitizes and streamlines the management of photos and drawings.

The construction industry faces challenges such as labor shortages and retaining young talent. This project aims to make it easier for students to choose a career in construction by helping them understand the content and appeal of the work while still in school, and to prevent mismatches after joining a company.

**Background: Challenges Facing the Construction Industry** The construction industry currently faces the following structural challenges: - Aging workforce: Approximately 37% are 55 years or older, while approximately 12% are 29 years or younger (*2) - Decline in workforce: Approximately 6.85 million people → decreased to approximately 4.8 million people (*3) - High effective job opening ratio (4-6 times) (*4) - Increase in bankruptcies due to labor shortages (2024: 342 cases) (*5) - Turnover rate within 3 years for new graduates: 40-50% (*6)

Against this background, this project aims to contribute to solving the construction industry's talent shortage and educational challenges by providing students with opportunities to experience construction sites and deepen their understanding of the work while still in school.
