Spic Inc. (Headquarters: Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Takayuki Shibata) is pleased to announce that its supplement brand "Lypo-C" will continue to support the international sailing race "Enoshima Week 2026," organized by the Kanagawa Sailing Federation, as the title sponsor, following 2025. This competition will be held for four days from Thursday, May 21 to Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the Enoshima Yacht Harbor in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Under the philosophy of "Creating Future Health," Spic has been engaged in initiatives to promote health through sports and to support athletes who continuously challenge themselves.
The competition is held in the waters of Enoshima, which has hosted the Olympics twice, and is one of Japan's largest sailing events, where Olympians and junior sailors compete in the same field.
The values of sailing, which require the ability to read natural conditions and make continuous independent judgments, deeply resonate with Spic's vision of "Creating Future Health." As a company rooted in its birthplace, Kamakura, and having walked alongside the Shonan and Enoshima seas, we decided to support this competition again in 2026, with the desire to be a partner that sustains this event.

Comment from Mr. Sozo Sueki, Chairman of Kanagawa Sailing Federation
This competition is expected to attract top domestic athletes as well as participants from various foreign countries, especially from Asia. It provides a valuable opportunity for junior and youth athletes, who often have limited interaction with top domestic and international players, to gain diverse experiences. We also hope that this event will establish itself as a major race in Asia.
Furthermore, we will continue to develop this competition into a fulfilling event that contributes to the revitalization of all race classes held and the local area of Enoshima.
Comment from Mr. Takayuki Shibata, Representative Director and President of Spic Inc.
On the sea, all decisions and outcomes are up to oneself. Knowing one's condition, reading the environment, and taking action. That accumulation becomes the power to move forward. This attitude required in sailing is the same as in health creation: something you think, choose, and build yourself. We feel great significance in supporting this event, where such values can be experienced, from the Shonan region.
About Enoshima Week
This historic competition has continued since 1977, the year after the Montreal Olympics where the two-person "470 class" became an Olympic event. Among regattas regularly held in Japan, it is the only international ranking race certified by World Sailing (the international governing body for the sport) and also serves to elevate the level of Asian sailors affiliated with the Asian Sailing Federation.
Last year's competition saw 302 boats and 525 participants from Japan, France, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other regions. The 2026 competition will also serve as a qualifier for the Asian Games, making it a crucial event for athletes aiming for the international stage.
