Overview Space Renaissance Inc. (SR) has been established as a subsidiary of Est Rouge Inc. (ER), a company widely engaged in service planning and development for B2B and B2C sectors (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yasuteru Terasawa). With the concept of "More Freedom for Space Development," SR aims to support and resolve the challenges faced by the space industry through the power of digital technology. By doing so, we will realize an environment where companies can focus on essential value creation, contributing to the further acceleration of space development. SR aims to build a "common space development software platform for space transport companies" from a neutral position within the industry, independent of specific spacecraft or transport systems. As a first step, we will develop a common mission analysis service to streamline and enhance rocket flight operations, contributing to the early realization and increased frequency of access to space. Background In recent years, the space industry has experienced rapid growth, and global expectations for space transport systems that provide access to space are rising. Against this backdrop, various space transport services are being developed both domestically and internationally. On the other hand, due to differences in launch methods, vehicle configurations, and operational concepts, design studies tend to be optimized individually by each company, leading to inefficiencies caused by redundant studies and increased development costs. Furthermore, with increasingly complex design processes and vast parameters to consider, traditional methods are becoming insufficient for adequate optimization and rapid decision-making. In this situation, the use of digital technologies—such as simulation, data utilization, and algorithm-based design support—is attracting attention as a key to realizing more sophisticated and efficient design and development processes. In particular, the entry of players with strengths in digital technology is expanding the potential for new value creation in cross-disciplinary optimization and advanced decision-making. SR's Initiatives (Value Proposition) From a neutral standpoint independent of specific spacecraft or transport systems, SR provides digital support to resolve operational issues related to design, analysis, operation, and maintenance in the space industry, and will promote the following initiatives: ・Construction of a software platform for space development ・Development and provision of mission analysis services independent of operators or vehicle types ・Contracted flight analysis, flight safety analysis, and consulting for spacecraft ・Technical support and consulting for obtaining spacecraft launch licenses ・Simulation, DX, and AX support for spacecraft and transport vehicles These initiatives are expected to improve efficiency in the early stages of development, facilitate comparative studies between operators, and promote new entries into the space industry. Furthermore, the effort to build a common mission analysis infrastructure from a position independent of specific spacecraft or transport systems is a challenging endeavor with few precedents. SR's Strengths SR's strength lies in the fusion of the service development capabilities cultivated by its parent company, ER, and the expertise of space professionals with practical experience in spacecraft and transport vehicle mission analysis. ・Space Professionals: End-to-end support from requirement definition to analytical design and operation, based on practical experience in mission analysis and transport vehicle design. ・Extensive UI/UX Design Track Record: Based on the planning capabilities cultivated by our parent company, ER, we provide solutions that address on-site operational needs.
